English Tuition St Asaph

There are many first language Welsh speakers in Flintshire and Denbighshire and it can sometimes throw up issues with adapting to reading and spelling in English. However, our lovely Year 5 pupil was struggling with both Welsh and English. When she started, she couldn't identify any of the phonic sounds meaning that reading was impossible in any language. Our one to one English Tuition, St Asaph, provided the ideal solution.

THE SOLUTION

After working with a one to one private tutor for just six weeks, we concentrated on phonetic sounds and words rather than sentences. Phonics enabled her to make progress in both languages.

THE RESULTS

After just six weeks of working purely on phonetic sounds, she was able to read with confidence. Her grandmother had a flyer on the her fridge and was shocked when she was able to confidently read it all out loud. The results were remarkable!
